My name is Mattie Evans, I attended Shaw University attaining a BS degree in Early Childhood Education. With this degree I became a preschool teacher while working with an head-start agency through the federal government. After my reign of 15.5 years, I accepted a job with the State of North Carolina Department of Correction and became a certified Correctional Officer 11 attaining a General Instructor Certification through Halifax Community College wherein I’m certified to teach classes to non and certified staff.
