Lois is a doula as well as a board certified speech language pathologist. She is a trained DONA Certified Birth Doula and educated in breastfeeding. Her dedication is to the utmost care and wellbeing of her mothers, their babies and families, pre and post delivery. She loves working with babies, young children and young women. She believes that educating and caring for mothers impacts positively both the childbearing and childrearing experience. She welcomes the opportunity to serve and provide her clients with sage reinforcement, "healthy" nutritional wellness options and to facilitate a safe space for mothers-to-be to experience the sacred gift of childbirth. She has provided support in home and hospital births as well as cesarean births. It is Lois' intention to provide the very best of care, time and attention to each and every mother and baby under her supervision. In her free time, Lois enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, singing, reading and baking.
